《天书》 66. 从公元前2千纪中期一直延续到公元前1千纪晚期的天上占卜，以及公元前500年之后的巴比伦天文学，为巴比伦占星术提供了知识背景，其与这两个截然不同的传统都有关系。基于这些关系，占星术提供了一个独特的视角来了解晚期巴比伦的天文科学。
